Pharmacy Tech |Blended
with Teresa Foster
This class will be a combination of virtual and in person. The first class will require attendance in person at the Muskogee Campus. Remaining classes will be through your home campus.
Pharm Techs are in high demand, with many major pharmacy chains now offering signing bonuses of at least $5,000. Learn the theory and basics of pharmacy info systems, drug conversions and more. Prep for the PTCB certification exam. Prerequisites: WorkKeys Assessment scores (Applied Math 4, Graphic Literacy 3 and Workplace Documents 5), high school diploma or GED.
This is a collaboration class between Tahlequah and the other ICTC Campuses, with the instructor being based out of the Muskogee Campus and teaching virtually to other students.
The first and last class sessions are in-person in Muskogee, and there are 3-4 lab sessions to be hosted on the Muskogee Campus on Saturday mornings.

Dental Assistant | Blended
with Cammie Daniels
Learn head/neck anatomy dental terms, radiology placement of X-Ray film, charting, instrumentation, chairside assisting and more.
To request an application for the Dental Assistant program, email michael.payne@ictech.edu for an application. This class meets 8 hours a week and 4 hours 1 Saturday a month and runs for 49 weeks on the calendar as we included dates school is closed for holidays.
For the theory modules, you can join the instructor face-to-face at the Tahlequah campus or you can join virtually from home, let us know. We'll set you up at a campus computer lab.
All skills days must be attended in person at the Tahlequah campus.

Phlebotomy
with Jolene Paden
Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards.
Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Most will be conducted with volunteers during class. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.

Dog Obedience Training
with Toni Bailey
Teach your dog to be a more valuable member of the family with the right techniques and strategies. Required: proof of current vaccinations. Dogs must be crated in the classroom when not running drills.
Required Materials:
- Crate/Kennel for Dog (When they're not being worked on)
- Collar and Leash for Dog
- Small "Bite size" treats for dog
- Water bottle (for human) as a recommendation
Knife Making 1
with Randy Tanner
Build a custom, high-performance cutting tool from scratch using traditional stock removal methods. In this hands-on course, you will transform a raw bar of tool steel and a block of resin-impregnated wood into a beautiful, durable, full-tang fixed-blade knife.
This class is completely kit-free; you will design, profile, bevel, and heat-treat your own blade from raw materials.
Please Note: This course focuses entirely on the stock removal method (shaping steel by grinding and cutting). Material forging (blacksmithing with a hammer and anvil) is not included.
Cake Decorating W/Buttercream I
with Katelyn Whitekiller
Create leaves, roses, rosebuds, borders & intricate designs with glazing, piping and scripts. Additional supplies will be needed, and a more speicifc list will be shared closer to the class start date.
Knife Making 1

Certified Med Aide
with Brenda Smith
In this class you gain the skills necessary to assist doctors, nurses, and other health professionals with a mix of clinical duties and administrative tasks. This class will also prepare you for your CMA certification exam. Prerequisites: proficient in reading, speaking and understanding English, HS diploma or GED, current CNA card with CNA work experience (6 months at least), proof of TB skin test, social security card, and government photo ID. You must be fully paid or have a signed payment plan agreement on file at least 7 days prior to the class start date. Cost includes the $100 exam fee. A $60 non-refundable fee is required, which includes application processing and a criminal background check. Registration is pending the results of your background check. Online registration is merely a "placeholder" there is an additional application for this program.
